Buttercups Childcare has joined this year’s ‘Share the Dignity’ drive. Thank you to our beautiful parents and Early Childhood Educators for bringing in donations of feminine hygiene products in support of Share the Dignity. Our Donation Box is left outside the Centre for families and the community to drop their donated items.
Share the Dignity is an amazing organisation helping homeless women across Australia maintain their menstrual hygiene by distributing these items to various charities, shelters, centres and refuges supporting homeless women. Women make up 44% of the homeless population of Australia and when it comes to their time of month, more than 45 000 women often cannot access and afford these necessities. This is where you can help. This months donation drive is: Sanitary items such as – pads, maternity pads & tampons
