Welcome to Buttercups Childcare and Early Learning Centre – Beechboro! Situated just off the Altone Road exit on Reid Highway, located behind the Altone Shopping Centre complex, with convenient parking for easy pick up and drop off, Buttercups Childcare Beechboro provides quality childcare and early learning for little ones aged 0 to 5 years old.
At Buttercups Childcare, we believe every child deserves personalised care. Our purpose-built centre has been recently refurbished and has been designed to support your child’s academic, creative and cognitive growth. Through child-centred activities indoors and out, we aim to spark your child’s love of learning.
Our centre features three large indoor activity rooms tailored for the early learning experiences of different age groups – babies, toddlers, and kindy. Each play space is carefully put together to provide a warm and welcoming environment which helps children feel a sense of belonging and curiosity with their surroundings.
Step outside and explore our newly renovated, age-appropriate outdoor areas! Comprising of one large play space with ample room for children to explore, investigate, and play with children from all age groupings across the centre, as well as a smaller enclosed area dedicated to our littlest children. They seamlessly connect with each room to allow for a flexible indoor/outdoor program. Here, children can enjoy play structures, bike rides, green spaces and sandpits – all under the protection of large shade sails, allowing for a safe play experience all year round. Wet weather jumpsuits are also available for all children during the wetter months.
At Buttercups, we understand that every child is unique. The centre’s team of passionate, experienced, and fully qualified educators and teachers have decades of combined experience and take the time to get to know you and your child and create personalised programs tailored to their learning styles and strengths. Led by newly appointed Centre Manager, Krystal Dreaver, and Assistant Centre Manager, Lauren Andrews, our Buttercups Beechboro team is dedicated to ensuring each child has a great start in life!

Krystal Dreaver
Meet our Centre Manager at Buttercups Beechboro
Hi, my name is Krystal Dreaver and I am the Centre Manager here at our Buttercups Beechboro Centre.
I began my journey in education and care in 2010, as an early childhood educator working across all rooms from 0-5 years. After finishing my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood in 2014, I became an Early Childhood Teacher and have worked in various roles both on and off the floor.
I have been part of Buttercups Childcare since October 2023, when I helped to open our Mindarie service. Since January 2024, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to mentor, support and educate the team here at Buttercups Beechboro as the Centre Manager.
I enjoy building relationships with the children, building partnerships with our families, and mentoring the educators within our service in order to provide high quality education and care experiences for the children. Establishing relationships with all children, educators and families is the foundation to facilitating learning based on the individual needs of the children. I believe that creating rich, open-ended environments that spark curiosity and wonder encourages children to become confident and capable individuals.
My favourite part of working in education and care, is watching children grow and blossom at each milestone, knowing that I have played a part in creating happy memories and supporting each individual child. I love walking into the centre each morning and seeing how excited the children are to see the educators, their faces lighting up with excitement and sharing their wonderful stories.
