Starting blocks

Did you know that 90 per cent of a child’s brain has developed by the time they are five years old?

Children’s brains go through a period of rapid growth during early childhood, as they are learning more than they will at any other time in their life. This is why it is important they are given the opportunity to learn and develop every day, at home and at early learning centres like Buttercups.

For a list of activities and check out the Starting Blocks website, a free government service, that also provides great information on many interesting topics like toilet training, raising a bilingual child and many more – https://www.startingblocks.gov.au/
