Bye bye Terrible Twos!

Both parents and educators in early learning centres like Buttercups may refer to the Toddler years as the “Terrible Twos.” It’s a normal developmental phase experienced by young children that’s often marked by tantrums, defiant behaviour and lots of frustration.

During this stage, your child will naturally want to explore their environment and have and do what they want on their own terms. That’s all normal and expected behaviour. But because their verbal, physical, and emotional skills aren’t well-developed, your child can easily become frustrated when they fail to adequately communicate or perform a task.

Please have a look at the following article that suggests ideas to make the “Terrible Twos” a little less terrible 🙂 https://thesector.com.au/2020/05/07/being-more-flexible-with-babies-structured-learning-can-make-the-twos-less-terrible/
