On Monday, the 14th of June, Buttercups Childcare and Early Learning Centre had an incursion with Sean, the Dentist and Isaac, the Dental Hygienist from DB Dental.
During their session with our lovely children (Tulip, Daisy and Daffodil Rooms), they discussed dental hygiene and the types of food and drinks that are good and bad for our teeth. Sean also explained to the children what happens when they go to the dentist and sit in the special dentist chair. During the discussion, the children learned that their teeth need to be brushed twice a day for 2 minutes. Every child was given a package that contained a toothbrush, toothpaste and a few other goodies.
In all our Buttercups Childcare & Early Learning Centres, we aim to provide a rich and meaningful learning experience to our children, by providing them with a strong sense of being, belonging and becoming.
