This centre has been the best thing that has happened to my daughter. We started her care in early 2023 and she has developed so much in such a short span. At the start of my daughter’s care, I explained to the educators that my daughter was a COVID baby and is extremely anti-social. The educators worked really hard in incorporating peer play and updated me with all the wins and exercises they did. The educators and management team are simply excellent. I have no doubts that this is where I would send my 6 month old son too.

My daughter attended Buttercups Childcare Centre and we had a wonderful experience! If you’re on the fence on which daycare to choose, pick Buttercups! I cannot rate this company highly enough. My daughter was in the Northbridge centre from the age of 7 months to 2 years and she would have stayed there until school if it wasn’t for me changing jobs and it being closer to my home. The staff are absolutely incredible and my little one has turned into such an independent, polite and social little girl and I put this down to the education and values here at Buttercups. The centre itself is beautifully organised, clean and homely! Would highly recommend!!

Does The Centre Follow A Curriculum?

At Buttercups, our approach follows the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on learning through play. This supports your child’s development from birth to age five, preparing them for school.

Do You Provide A Kindergarten Or 3-Year-Old Program?

Yes, we offer a tailored learning program for pre-kindy and kindy-aged children, focusing on school readiness. Led by an Early Childhood Teacher, the program supports academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing environment.

How Will I Know What My Child Did At The Centre?

At Buttercups, we keep you connected to your child’s day through the Xplor and OWNA apps. Receive updates, photos, videos, and details on activities, meals, and milestones.

How Does Handover Communication Work?

Information is relayed between educators and carers throughout the day and will be readily available to you at time of pick up to ensure you have the complete picture of your child’s day.

Can I Provide My Child With Their Own Food?

Unfortunately, we do not allow families to provide their children with their own food. Due to the allergies within our Centres, we have a food coordinator that will prepare all meals for the children. Our menu caters for dietary requirements, food allergies, and food requests.

Do You Follow Sun Safety Guidelines?

We follow the National SunSmart Program to ensure safety. We check the UV index, schedule outdoor activities when safe, and provide shaded play areas. Both children and educators wear hats and sun-safe clothing.
